Phase 1

The first phase to achieve your complete makeover of your floor is to grind out your concrete. The concrete must be smooth and free of any stains. A 750 pound propane floor grinder is used to grind the majority of the floor. A hand grinder is used to grind the outer edges of the floor, as well as any stem walls if needed.

Phase 2

The phase of preparation is by far the most important step in the operation. We make sure everything is swept and cleaned up before we apply the base coat. Taping off your walls is vital for not spreading any epoxy where you don't want it! Preparing your floor to the upmost protection allows us to avoid any major issues further down the line.

Phase 3

Applying your base coat of epoxy is the third phase in this operation. Our base coat is chemically reacted between a 2 part A to 1 part B. All three parts are needed in order for the epoxy to chemically bond correctly. Once the epoxy is mixed, we will evenly apply it throughout your floor. This is done through floor squeegees and paint rollers.

Phase 4

Applying the flakes as the epoxy is still setting is critical for the flakes to stick to the floor. Flakes are essential in making your floor impact resistant. Once the flakes have settled into the epoxy, we will pick up any excess flake. This allows your floor to look as sharp as we want it to be!

Phase 5

The fifth and final step in your makeover is to apply the polyaspartic top coat. This finishing coat is scratch resistance with high UV stability. It provides a spectacular finish which is easy to maintain. Once it cures, your floor will be ready for your use!
